Looking on the bright side....of green

So May is shaping up to be a very rainy month.  Most people I know are just itching to see a little sun and spring.  I was determined to find something wonderful about this weather since we seem to have several more consecutive rain days ahead!  One thing that is quite unique about this time of year is how green the new growth is.  As I looked, I was struck by the graphic quality the tree trunks and branches have taken on now that their bark is rain soaked.  It is a beautiful image to experience first hand, almost magical.  A little silver lining in the midst of the grey.
